I gave up on trying to get a UIPickerView to work properly on a UITableView. <\/p>\n

In a previous post<\/a>, I had mentioned how I was having problems with this not working out for me.<\/p>\n

I was having two problems with the UIPickerViews I created:<\/p>\n

  1. The UIPickerView did not not respond to gestures<\/li>\n
  2. The UIPickerView did not fill out to the full width of the screen<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    So instead of spending any more time on this, I took a look at other applications that have the same workflow for this and I decided to use a separate table view to replace the picker wheel.<\/p>\n
