{"id":822,"date":"2011-03-07T08:15:23","date_gmt":"2011-03-07T13:15:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jaimerios.com\/?p=822"},"modified":"2011-03-07T08:15:23","modified_gmt":"2011-03-07T13:15:23","slug":"bringing-an-old-phone-back-to-life","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jaimerios.com\/?p=822","title":{"rendered":"Bringing an old phone back to life"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have an old Motorola RAZR that I wanted to power up, but I gave away all of the chargers during my town&#8217;s last e-cycle pick up.<\/p>\n<p>I wondered if I could charge up the phone via a USB cable, but all of articles I read pointed to this only working on a PC and having to install special drivers on Windows for this to work.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s not too bad, but the cell phone&#8217;s battery was completely dead.<\/p>\n<p>So, I taped 3 AA batteries together in series and used copper cables to attach the positive and negative ends of the ad-hock power source to the cell phone&#8217;s dead battery.
